First day at church

He got all dressed up for the first time today to go to church. He was just so cute we couldn't help ourselves and went overboard on taking pics, again, like we always do. And you guys get to benefit from it! They aren't the best pictures of me, but I couldn't help myself anyways because he was just too cute.

Here's the proud big sister and big brother. You can tell how much they love him.

Four Weeks Old

So, four whole weeks have come and gone and he is growing like crazy. When we took him into the doctor at a week and a half he was 7 lbs 8 oz. So he had almost gained a whole pound. By now I'm guessing he's probably somewhere between 8 and 8 and a half pounds. Those tiny newborn diapers that were almost too big for him are now a tight squeeze for him to get into to.
He's a sweet little baby, and is sleeping for 6 hour stretches at a time (most nights). He's trying to hold his head up and focus on peoples faces a little better. His hair has started falling out, but mostly on the top so he's starting to look like a little old man, and his baby zits are starting to come. Also his cheeks are getting fatter but he doesn't have the face muscles to hold them up yet. And hes getting a big double chin. So his looks have changes a lot already but to me he is still adorable! The one thing that hasn't changed is that his arms and legs still look so incredibly long!
A special thanks to all of you who have helped us so much by either taking the kids, or by bringing food, or just helping me keep my sanity with little breaks. And to all of those who haven't seen him yet, we can't wait for you to come and visit him. We'll see ya soon, and to my Mom and Dad we'll see you in a couple days!!! We can't wait.











It won't be too long until he can smile, but for now this will have to do.

Its Official

Just thought Id leave a little note telling everyone that Josh is officially done with college. He took his very last final today! We are both elated that it is over, and "just a shade under a decade" too. (Quote from Tommy Boy for those of you wondering). I thought this day would never come. Oh and here's a picture just for good measure! Ashlyn and Jayden really do have beds, but they opted to forgo them in order to have someone to snuggle!
