Welcome Back

This week is a week full of pictures, and not much else. Some weeks I have so much to say, and some weeks I can barely get a chance to put things on the blog. I really want to work on taking my camera with us wherever we go, so we could catch some of the fun things we actually do, but until then this will have to do.

It must be Sunday again

Again Rylan's rash has been a big worry this week. Just when I think it's getting better it comes back strong, and the doctors arent sure what to do about it, so after some prayers and fasting, and a blessing we hope that by next week we have something good to report.
Josh had a busy week, working over forty hours with both jobs. So over 90 hours total, but hopefully it will slow down this next week. Other than that, the kids are still loving school, and life is just plugging a long. I really wish I some other thing to tell you.

Rylan standing.
Rylan Sitting.
Rylan's new favorite thing, pushing up on his arms. He can move a little.
Rylan doing push ups.
We think Rylan may grow up to be a vampire. He loves to grab your face pull you in and chomp.

Even with the rash most days he's still very happy. He's had a couple hard nights though.
Here's the snuggly family. I love Jayden's new cheesy face. What a heart breaker.

A few Last Pictures

it was supposed to be beach day on Saturday so josh was getting them all ready to surf, but with Rylan's rash we had to cancel, but we got to eat snow cones instead and they really enjoyed that. Ashlyn said it turned out to be a good day even if they didnt get to go to the beach.

Its Sunday Again, and you know what that means

So last week, we had nothing new to say, no new pictures to show, and no desire to blog, but this week will be a jam packed issue, of the sunday post, more than enough to make up for last week, so hold on tight, here we go.

If you want one picture that pretty much describes this week then here it is:

Poor Rylan got a moisture rash and then it got infected. I took him to the doctor for a 4 month check up and the doctor gave me a antibiotic cream and told me to alternate it with cortaid and come back in a few days if he wasn't better. So Friday he wasn't any better and I noticed a rash developing on his chest as well so I went back in and saw a different doctor (mine was out of town). She told me my first doctor was wrong, and to put steroid cream on it because the cortaid wasn't strong enough. And she gave me a oral antibiotic. Then when I put the steroid cream on it inflamed the rash and spread it, when he woke up Saturday (after a horrible night sleep) it was worse and there was another kind of rash all over his body, and spreading fast. So I went back in again...to see yet another doctor...who said the first two creams were making it worse, keep up the antibiotic cream and she had no idea what the other rash was. And can you believe all three are still getting paid? Anyways, the rash in this picture was taken this morning and is actually much better than it was if you can believe that. I feel so bad for him, it itches pretty bad, but he's getting better. Thank Goodness.

The other new excitement this week is THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! Jayden and Ashlyn were both excited to start class. If you ask them they will tell you Jayden is the turtle class and Ashlyn in the Pony class, and Ashlyn has sand and Jayden has Plato. I was a little worried about how Jayden would handle it, but his teachers are so kind, and I think he's doing really well. It should be a good year for them. Josh got to come and pick them up with me and see them in their class before they knew we were there. It was fun.

This is after school. Can you tell?
Jayden before church last week, soo handsome.

Rylan is starting to sit on his own, hes still in the very early stages, but still pretty good for his age, you can see his rash in this picture too, the one on his chest and everything.

THE SUNDAY POST

Well here it is Sunday again, and I barely got a chance to do this tonight. But Im glad I did. Im sure if I were to update more like every month, the posts might be a little more thrilling, but I started this mostly so I could share pictures with the people I love the most, so if youre reading this, that means you are one of them. And so here it is more pictures. We really need to do something exciting so the pictures aren't always so the same. But oh well, this is our life, not glamorous but wonderful just the same.

Rylan is looking noticeably older, and even though the pictures are so similar, I couldn't just put in one, and I couldn't decide which one I like the best, every face he makes, makes me want to melt. You know what I mean?

A week in the life of a Holleman

Ashlyn and Jaydens teachers came this week and surprisingly enough Ashlyn already had some homework. She needed to decorate a house with all of her family in it. So we decided once again let her loose with the camera. In the end I think not only did she finish her broject, but she also gave us a glimpse of what we look like from her eyes. She caught us all doing what we do best, and the most. So here is our family from her point of view.

Josh cooking of course. He is sooo selfless, constantly serving all of us all the time. We are very aware of how lucky we are to have such a fine man in our house, and Im glad that he is the example for my children to look up to!!! When he saw this picture, he said"wow is that what I look like to you?" Hes so tall in this picture, and I think it made him think twice about what she must see in him.
Rylan, sleeping in his swing, he does this new thing where he sticks one foot out, which is something I do with my blanket, Josh said hey look hes just like you. He cant fall asleep unless its hanging over the side like that.

Jayden, bonking of course. He didnt want his picture taken.

And Dakota. At first she took a shot of her back side, but I thought Id spare you that picture!
And me, on the couch of course, directing traffic, and delegating. Its like my throne! JK I actually do more than just this, if you can believe that, I don't think my grandma would buy that though. Luckily in the end she didn't end up using this photo, or a few of the other ones, but I did think it was a good chance for me to really see what she sees.
Heres the final project, what do you think?
