A few bonus pics

Angie asked for pics of the rest of us, Im sure she meant as a family but this is all weve got. You can probably see why Im not in the picture being taken of me mood, Im a little bit big, if you go back to pics from last year this time, also on the blog, Im sure youll see Im the same size if not bigger now, and I was due in April that time, July now. Josh thinks its so funny to take pictures of me taking pictures.

This is what I call his Bill Cosby Jello Pudding Face.

A little bit of catch up

First of all let's start with Easter. Josh got overtime that morning so he didnt make it home from the station, so I hid the eggs. The night before Ashlyn asked, "Are you gonna be the Easter Bunny or it Daddy?" I told her Daddy was and she said He always is. So already my kids have a firm grasp on reality, some of you may feel sorry for them, but Im glad the will never feel that great diappointment when they realize there is no Easter Bunny. I think I get this from my mother. We never did Easter big when I was a kid, usually if my mom felt like it she would hide cany around the house for us to find. Then we would put all the candy in a bowl and probably it was used for lunches that week. I never remembr a year of her not feeling like it but I do remember her using that phrase a lot. Thats how we are. We just hide some candy eggs and call it good. I felt a little guilty when I walked into Walmart and saw all the stuff to make baskets and realized this year the thought never even crossed my mind, and then I felt less guilty when I thought about all the money we would spend on useless stuff, so as little as we do, I think its good enough, at least for now.

Heres Rylan with all the loot. He didnt participate in the egg hunt, but sure has enjoyed playing with all the eggs. I still took one to church with me today to keep him occupied. I camt believe all the cool eggs they have nowadays though, we had green camo, pink camo, spiderman, princess, and ones that looked like different sports balls.

Shake-a Shake-a
Ashlyn in her Easter dress. Shes actually had this for a while but she heard a few commercials advertising cute dresses for sale, and made sure I payed attention when they were on.
A picture she took herself.
Heres Jayden in the background, as always mad because hes the last one to put on his shoes and is feeling the pressure to get a move on, hence no other Easter pics.

Heres Rylan pushing a bike. He loves walking as long as something is going with him. Hell grab my hand and go as far as he possibly can holding on, then when he cant go any farther he falls to the floor, I cant get him to venture off any farther on foot.
He discovered the cupboards.
match y match y
Heres church pics from today, they all have curly hair which surprised me, you can really tell now that Jay and Rylan really need hair cuts.

Rylan standing its a miracle I caught it.

Its Bluebonnet time

So folks its that time of year again, when we load the kids up and drive 45 minutes away to a whataburger parking lot, and take some beautiful pics. This year we had one more critter to add to the pics, and surprisingly I look the same as I did last year, only last year I had a couple weeks to go, and this year its a couple months, but hey, what can ya do?

So anyway heres the pictures from this years trip.

Pictures I took

Joshs Pictures

This is where Rylan ended up. He had just slept on the way there, but it seems no matter how cloudy the kids are always squinting. Rylan opted for the sleeping technique.

And this is where Jayden ended up finding rocks to throw.

Hey Everyone!! I just wasn't feeling the blogging mojo last week, but Im back this week, so thanks for your patience. Everything is going really well, Josh has his menieres disease under control, he can go back to work and hasn't had a dizzy spell in a week and a half.
The kids are doing great, they are on spring break this week, so Im not entirely sure what to do to keep them busy this week, hopefully we can find something fun to do. Since Josh wasnt back at work yet, he got to go to dance class with us, and we had a fun picnic at he park with some of the other moms in the ward. It was a very good friday, so from that to this week where he works everyday this week and no school or dance, we will have to be more creative.

Heres a picture Ashlyn was determined we take of her and Jayden snuggling in the guest room watching cartoons.

Sunday pictures.

Heres a craft Jayden got at church today. Hes a sunbeam now so Im guessing the olesson was we are thankful for flowers. This was Ashlyns turn to wear it.

I love that Rylan is old enough to eat what we eat, all by himself. This is minestrone soup. He actually hates it when I feed him now.
Dakota, loves to be under the blanket, silly dog.

Jayden said he wanted to be a surfer in the picture, Im guessing he remembers the picture I took of Josh for the snow picture we took for Christmas pictures. He told Josh he wants to be a surfer when he grows up. Im sure you can imagine how proud Josh was at that statement.

In Case you were wondering

Rylan stuck in the bottom of the exersaucer. too funny.

At Ashlyn's dance class if you dance really well, you get to take Angelina Ballerina home for a week. Anshlyn has been dancing her best the last two months and it was finally her turn!!

So the update on Josh is that he has been officially diagnosed with what he thought he had. Meniers Disease. The ENT is working towards the surgery which would cut his nerve to his right ear, making him deaf in that ear, but it also would not send the information that makes him sick. The problem would be that it wouldnt stop the sodium fluctuation or buildup, and could then go to the next ear, or may not, its a bit of a gamble. They are giving him 3 months to get it under control, or they will do the surgery. But he has several leads and is upping the meds, and is eating very low sodium and no sugar diet. So if anyone wants to go on a sympathy diet for him hes eating less than 1000 mg of sodium a day and no sugar. He should lose a lot of weight, which for more people would be good, but not for him. Hes exhausted, maybe because of the new diet? Hes not allowed to drive which means he cant work at the fire dept for now. So hopefully all will be well, we have faith and know that there are many prayers for us. So thank you.

Other than that which is most of it right now, things are great. The kids are doing great, and Im tired, but doing well, so what else can ya need right?
