The Sunday Post

My friend Lynette told me I should name my blog "The Sunday Post" so at least for today, that is what it will be called. Its nice to know there are people out there who know I post on Sundays and check to see what the Hollemans have been up to this week. I tend to think its a lot of blah blah blah, but hopefully you find it at least a little entertaining.
Most our news this week comes by way of Josh's work situation. Many of you may know he was studying like mad to get a promotion at the fire department. 1,000 people were taking the test for maybe 200-250 jobs, so when he thought he got a 93 on the test he was very disappointed. Then he found out he heard the lady wrong and really had gotten a 96, he sighed a big sigh of relief. Then a question that he had gotten wrong was thrown out to give him a total of 97 on the test and made him number 83 out of all those hundreds of people, so with in the next few months he should be moving to driving the apparatuses, mostly the ambulance. He also has gotten his degree so he went out looking for a job, and found out he had one more class to take luckily it was only a 3 day class so he found someone to hire him and he starts on Tuesday. He will start out installing sprinkler systems in buildings, and then will end up designing them with his engineering degree.
After a week full of goopy pink eyes and a couple weeks worth of coughs and runny noses all seems to be clearing up, so we hope.
Ashlyn and Jayden will meet their preschool teachers this week. And start school on the 10th. Im so looking forward to it for them and for me, but still have some jitters about the whole thing. But everyone eventually goes to school. Its part of a normal well adjusted life I keep telling myself.
Other than that we are just doing the normal stuff, spending days swimming, swinging, going to McDonalds, and sometimes having time to clean up the mess we've made during it all!!!
Oh and one other thing, I went to see Becoming Jane this week. And may I just say I LOVED IT!! If you like the extra long A&E version that is basically just like the book starring Colin Firth, (which I do) then I think you would really enjoy this. Anne Hathaway was awesome, and you can see where she gets so much of her inspiration from. So if you like that kinda thing I highly recommend it, if you don't Id say stick to something else like the Borne Ultimatum!!

FYI This was posted then I tried to add a video clip and it never reposted! Glad you mentioned it Lynette I would have never known

These are all the pictures we have taken this week, sorry!
