Its a Boy!!!
Hey everyone, its official, we went to get the ultrasound done today and its defintly a boy. Ashlyn begged to come with because her friend got to go to her moms. They are having a girl which Ashlyn really wanted, and when she found out she said "They get to have a girl" but I think going to the ultrasound made her conect with the baby anyway, and she said shes only a little sad but mostly excited. We are debating between naming the baby just Ty and Tyler. So what do you think? I know its not a big difference but to me its a huge difference. So whats you opinion? Or any other good names you can think of?

Congratulations! Another boy to add to your brood! I like Ty better, but you could always name him Tyler and call him Ty...
I agree. I like Ty as a nickname for Tyler. And he may like Tyler better as an adult. (Then again, that's why my parents named me Angela, and that doesn't feel like my name!)
You already have three kids whose names end with an -en or -an sounds.
Just something to think about.
Are you sure you want to make the big step to an -y or -er sound?
Maybe a -on is a gradual enough change.
What about Tyson, or Bryson, or Jackson, etc...?
is the constant to be perpetuated here the "en" sound at the end, or the "y" somewhere in the middle. Maybe it is time to shake things up a little.
Congrats on another baby boy! I like Ty- but it would be cute to keep all of your kids names ending with "en" or "an". If he ended in "er" he might feel a little left out from the rest of the kids. :) I'm sure if Lynette was named katie for instance, she would feel left out. (Luv ya Lynette)

Congratulations! Wow another boy! I like Tyler, buts its not as unusual as the rest of your kids names. Good luck in picking a name for him. Just excited for another healthy nephew. Hope your feeling good and everything.
You already know what I want you to name him... either Solomon or Helaman. Ashlyn, Jayden, Rylan, Solomon, Helaman HOLLEMAN. That would pretty much be the best thing you could do for you family ever! On a more serious note... I like Ty better. I'm with Angel on this one. Andrea doesn't really feel like my real name anyway.
